Working with Momentum Worldwide always promises to be an interesting night. The events are fun, the people are great, and the drinks are always tasty. I first worked with them last year at the Hendrick’s Gin Voyages to the Unusual event at Salvage One – which if you missed it, be sure to keep an eye out for it this year. See more from that night here. Photographing these events gives me a chance to step away from the world of pretty flowers and gorgeous bridal gowns (which I still LOVE), but they give me an opportunity to expand my horizons and refuel my creative juices.

So when Momentum contacted me to photograph this event at The Barrelhouse Flat – it was an easy YES. Hey Bartender is a documentary film by Douglas Tirola about two bartenders trying to achieve their dreams through bartending. It’s the story of the rebirth of the bartender and the comeback of the cocktail, featuring the world’s most renowned bartenders and access to the most exclusive bars in New York with commentary from Graydon Carter, Danny Meyer, and Amy Sacco.
