This unpredictable Chicago weather has made it a teeeeeeny bit difficult to plan and shoot these engagement sessions that were scheduled around this time of year because it’s supposed to be warm by now… but Lexi + Tim didn’t let the dreary Friday ruin our plans. We met on the Chicago River since they really wanted to capture the architecture and buildings of Chicago during the engagement session. And the photos might hold extra special to them so they remember a piece of home when they move to Colorado in the fall (SO JEALOUS!). Funny thing is… Lexi + Tim actually went to the same high school and both grew up in the same town… but they didn’t know each other until they met in college out in Colorado… interesting how the world works, isn’t it?

However they were brought together – I’m excited to be a part of it! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this coming May… thanks for trusting me during the shoot and for being so sweet and fun! And ahem… you’re both pretty adorable, too 🙂 Can’t wait to work with you both again!
