Lauren + Joe met at IU 5 years ago, but didn’t really know each other or hang out. After college, they both moved to Chicago where a bunch of IU alums became friends and hung out. This brought them both to an apartment party where they instantly hit it off and started dating 2 weeks later. Just a few weeks after that, Lauren went to Joe’s brother’s wedding with Joe and met Joe’s entire family. Lauren immediately knew he was the one as soon as she met his family. She felt in her heart that one day, they would be getting married…. and here we are! We shot Lauren + Joe’s engagement session at the Lincoln Park North Pond and we can’t wait for their wedding at the Adler Planetarium next May! Until then, here’s some of our favorites…
