Taylor + Joe started dating in high school, and they’ve never looked back. They beat the long-distance relationship struggles through college and grad school… and they’ve found a way to spend quality time together despite Taylor’s hectic work schedule (Taylor works as an Athletic Trainer at North Central College in Naperville). I’ve known Taylor for over a decade now. We played basketball together in high school, and we still play together in a recreational league on Tuesday nights. Every game day, Taylor tapes up my ankles while we chat about life and I embarrassingly apologize for my occasionally un-pedicured toes. And every game, Joe is there. Sitting in the bleachers, cheering for – not only Taylor – but the entire team… showing his support for his soon-to-be wife and her team. They support each other, have seen their relationship through the difficulties of long distance, and are just so darn cute and happy it makes me smile.
Taylor + Joe, what a BEAUTIFUL day we had for the e-session. It finally felt like spring in Chicago… and I would not have wanted to spend the afternoon anywhere else other than shooting with you. You guys laughed together, made fun of each other, hugged, kissed, and danced your way through the entire engagement session. It was a pleasure to see two people so genuinely happy together – and I think that shows through the photos. And these photos are real, people – Taylor + Joe really were saying, “I love you so much,” to each other throughout the session. You guys are utterly adorable and I cannot wait to capture your wedding day in December!
