Usually I write my couples’ blog posts myself. I try to fill it with my favorite memories from the day, well wishes for the couples, and a few sentimental notes. But, as I was scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed the day after Jacque + Tommy’s wedding, I stumbled across separate posts from both the bride and groom showing their gratitude, love, and appreciation of each other, as well as their family and friends. And I knew immediately that I had to share those words here.

From the groom (day of the wedding) // “I’m usually pretty good at gathering my thoughts and expressing myself on here but today it’s a little different. Today I’m marrying the woman of my dreams and all of the words that come to mind don’t seem good enough for her… Let me just start by saying no bride has worked harder or given more to this wedding and our relationship than mine. Thank you for sacrificing literally the last year of your life to make this day as special as it will be. I am truly honored to be marrying you and I have never been more excited for anything in my life. To all of our friends and family. THANK YOU. Your love and support have helped us get to this point and we are forever grateful… Jacque, see you soon. Love you too much.”

From the bride (day after the wedding) // “…to say that this has been the best experience of my life and that yesterday was the best day of my life is a severe understatement… thank you all so very much for all the kind words, ‘likes’, advice, etc. on Facebook…. thank you all for keeping Tommy and I together and being there for moral support, help with odds and ends, to keep us laughing and smiling literally all day long and the last 14 months… and last, my groom. Tommy, your unending support and truly unconditional love these last 4 years is already enough to last a lifetime, but I am so blessed to receive this forever. I can’t wait to start this new chapter as husband and wife! I love you all from the bottom of my heart. “

No words I could have written would have better expressed the love that was flowing on Jacque + Tommy’s wedding day. Congrats to the beautiful newlyweds, here’s to a life filled with positivity, love, and never-ending gratitude.
