Jaclyn + James are LA natives that came to Chicago so that James could go to UIC. The two of them live just a few blocks away from me, so naturally we bonded over our love for food in the West Loop as I gushed over how great this city can be – when the weather is nice. Being that they’re from California and this is their first summer in Chicago – they haven’t had the best preview of what Chicago summers can be like, but that hasn’t stopped them from enjoying their time here and living up their Engagement.

James asked Jaclyn to his senior prom, and the two have been dating ever since for the past nine years. They’re set to tie the knot back in their home state of Cali, but wanted to capture their time here in Chicago with a few iconic shots of this beautiful midwestern city.
