Over the past year+, I’ve been getting to know Caitlin + Devan. We first met at Liza + Mike’s Wedding, and then we got to know each other via email and behind the camera during photo shoots. So when their big day came to an end, I found myself kind of sad saying goodbye to not only one of my JTPhoto couples, but people that seemed more like friends. Their wedding day was a blast. Being up in Lake Geneva with their friends and family made it seem like a fun little getaway, not to mention I made a new best friend with their 4-year old daughter, Alli.

Caitlin + Devan’s love story started years ago… and they had to find their way in life separately before they could find their way back to each other. Now, more in love than ever, Caitlin + Devan are starting their lives together with their adorable – and I literally mean one of the cutest, funniest, and sweetest little girls I’ve ever met – daughter, Alli. Although it rained on their big day – which is good luck – we had the best of both worlds. It was perfectly overcast during portraits, the sun shined during the ceremony, and as soon as it was over and things moved inside – the rain started. We couldn’t have asked for better timing and it was the perfect start to Caitlin, Devan, and Alli’s lives together.
