Cindy + Paul got engaged this past Christmas, so they wanted the photos to capture their engagement with a winter, snowy feel. Insert unpredictable Chicago weather with a lack of snow, then snow finally coming but with sub-zero temperatures… and what does that leave us with? We end up shooting on a nearly 50 degree day with the sun shining bright enough that we don’t even need to wear coats on the lakefront, what? Ohh Chicago…

This adorable couple is the perfect example of how love balances the other out. Cindy is talkative and outgoing, and Paul compliments her energy with his quiet and tender personality. Both are sweet, genuine people… and they’ve found a way to highlight each other’s personalities to bring out the best in one another. I love working with couples like Cindy + Paul… you can tell how in love they are just by the way they look at each other. We didn’t quite get the perfect snowy day… but I think it worked out even better than we could have imagined. Congratulations to Cindy + Paul, can’t wait for the wedding!
