I ventured out to Palos Park to photograph Michelle + Tom in their home… and the drive was well worth it! These are our favorite types of engagement sessions. Relaxed, in our couples’ homes where they’re in their own, real element… doing things they normally do – drinking coffee, snuggling on the couch, reading books. These subtle, quiet moments are the little ones that make up most relationships, and we don’t often get to tell this story on the wedding day. I loved learning more about this couple, seeing books from all of their travels, and being in their beautiful home during Christmas season – and I am that much more excited to spend the wedding day with them!
