I have to tell the story of how Lauren + Joe met… it’s not only cute, but it sums up Lauren + Joe in a nutshell. Lauren was at the bar texting one of her girlfriends, and Joe walked right up to her and slyly asked, “Are you texting me?” They briefly chatted, exchanged numbers, and a few days later he took her out on their first date to Gilt Bar. The story is simple. Boy sees pretty girl at the bar, gathers up the courage to talk to her, starts the convo with a silly joke, they share a few laughs, and the rest is history. It’s that easy.

It didn’t take much to bring Lauren + Joe together. And it’s easy for me to imagine the two of them hitting it off the night they met and again on their first date. Because that’s how their Engagement Session went. We met, essentially for the first time, and it was like something clicked. I snapped away on my camera as the two of them laughed and played as if we were all old friends having a good time. And it’s clear in the photos just how much fun they have together. They let it all go, not letting the fact that there was a camera on them change anything, and they were just themselves… laughing, joking, and loving each other as I’m sure they have for the past couple years together.
