It was written in the cards for Linda and Volen, they just didn’t realize it until college. The two had crossed paths at a high school speech team meet. The judge had been late, so Volen propped his feet up on the desk and started asking everyone Trivial Pursuit questions that he had found in the room. Linda still remembers the question he asked that she answered correctly, even though Volen may or may not have any recollection of it! A few years later when Linda was a Freshman at the University of Illinois, Linda was cast in a show where she was officially introduced to Volen. Still, it took them three years to start dating, but once they did, it was clear where their futures were heading.

Fast-forward to their 5 year anniversary dinner at Boka. Volen contemplated proposing after their incredible meal, but he could tell it wasn’t the right moment. So the next morning as they woke up in the privacy and comfort of their own bed, Volen asked Linda to be his wife. And she joyfully said, yes! Linda + Volen, thank you for choosing me to capture your special day of love and affection towards each other. You are both extremely beautiful, intelligent, and kind people – and I am honored to have worked with such an amazing couple. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors, both together and as the incredible individuals that you are.
