Chicago has been full of unpredictable weather days. It has been 80 degrees one day, and 50 the next. Luckily, this was one of those perfect days that we happened to have schedule Dani + Jim’s Engagement Session on 🙂 On this beautiful evening, Dani, Jim, and myself explored the gorgeous Morton Arboretum. I’d been there before, but I never had a chance to drive around to all the different spots the Arboretum had to offer – I will definitely be taking a trip back in the fall with all the pretty colored leaves!
We chose the Morton Arboretum for the Engagement Session because Jim had originally planned to propose to Dani here. But, like a lot of proposals go, Dani had other plans for the night and wanted to stay in. The outcome was the same though – and she said YES! We thought the Arboretum would fall in perfectly with their wedding theme at Fishermann’s Inn. They’re going for that rustic, barn wedding feel – so playing around in the trees for their Engagement Session was the perfect fit. Dani + Jim, thank you for such a wonderful evening at the Morton Arboretum! I loved getting to know you both a little better and spend some time together before the wedding! Knowing how much fun we had together and hearing about all the gorgeous details of the wedding – I cannot wait for the big day. Happy wedding planning until then and I will see you in November!
