Today, we’re looking back into early 2020, when we were still hugging, celebrating weddings, and social distancing zoom calls weren’t a thing. This one holds a special place in my heart as it’s the wedding of my sister-in-law and new brother-in-law, Jolyn + Michael. I was lucky enough to be in the wedding party, so we had the team shoot it and they did such a great job. All of the days leading up to the wedding were so much fun – wedding dress shopping, the shower at Lou Malnoti’s,  the bachelorette party at the Grand Canyon, and especially the proposal at Garfield Park Conservatory. Being a part of the whole process was so, so special and it’s so fun to be able to look back at these photos now that we’re in the space that we are.

To all my 2020 couples that have had to postpone their weddings, I’m with you. You will get your wedding day, you will have just as much fun and look just as beautiful as these two do. It may or may not look exactly how you pictured it, but it will be even more special as we’re all feeling a little extra thankful for the loved ones we have in our life right now. To Jolyn + Michael, we love and miss you guys but hope you enjoy reliving your wedding day through this post 🙂
